Staying at Cebu Pungko-Pungko Hostel was a pleasant surprise. the value for money is undeniable, making it a smart choice for budget-conscious travelers. the dorm room provided sufficient privacy with well-maintained facilities. Complimentary unlimited water and coffee were a nice touch, adding to the overall affordability. the central location was convenient for exploring the city and accessing public transportation easily. However, the sporadic presence of staff was a minor drawback. As a marine biologist focused on conservation, I appreciated the hostel's seemingly eco-friendly practices, which align with my values. While the lack of certain amenities like ironing facilities or an outdoor dining area may not cater to luxury seekers, the overall cleanliness and comfort were satisfactory. In conclusion, for those seeking a simple, no-frills stay without sacrificing cleanliness and convenience, Cebu Pungko-Pungko Hostel offers a decent option at a reasonable price.
